Boy, 12 years old, autism. At one and a half years old he completely lost his speech and became autistic. He is mentally underdeveloped, and is unable to handle abstract concepts. He started speaking again when he was three and a half, but he tells only what he wants, there are no dialogues. He can say what he sees but there is no real communication. He can name some of his emotions like being sad which was taught him by speech therapy. But he cannot say why he is sad.
His pregnancy was going pretty well till the seventh or eight month. Then an echo showed a cyst around his kidney which made his mother very upset and stressed. When he was a half year old the cyst around his kidneys was gone.

He has a good mood. He's not aggressive. He bites his wrist when he is agitated.
He is a very unsure; he says things very quietly.
He is oversensitive to noises and closes his ear with his fingers when there are noises. This is worse when he is nervous, agitated or in new places.
He likes his parents very much and likes to cuddle with them. When his parents are angry at him, he starts crying with big tears rolling out of his eyes. He becomes silent and lies in his bed. When he is sad, he wants to be left alone. He is very caring for his three year younger brother. They have a strong bond.
There is autism in the family. There are stories of people being pushed out of the family. Family members were blaming others for their own misery. A great grandfather was shot as a soldier by the Germans in the second world war. His grandmother has a great fear of war, and of Russians.
He is overweight. He has good physical development. His toilet training was successful at three but previously it was difficult to get him to be continent and without a nappy.
Fears: elevator at school.
GeneralHe likes water and rain very much.
He cannot sleep in the dark and needs a night lamp. He needs the company of his parents to fall asleep.
