English: Tailed Pepper.
Botany: woody creeper, climbing perennial; flowers in spikes; fruit globose, pedicelled drupe; grown in shaded coffee plantations; odour aromatic; taste strongly aromatic, pungent, bitter; greyish stem with thick knots; oil has a camphoraceous taste.
Content: calcium, magnesium, ammonium, phosphorus.
DD: allspice or Jamaica pepper, the dried unripe berries of a West Indian tree of the Myrtaceae.
