IntroductionThe theme is that of a rigid society, where everything is fixed, laid out and unchangeable. It is like the caste system in India or strict religious societies, like Confucianism, Christianity or Islam. It can be so strict and rigid that even the ones who have the lowest position see the structure as constant, unchangeable and God-given.
They are often from higher social classes, feeling special and having the right to being treated with respect. They feel they have to preserve the culture and that without them society will deteriorate and become like a wilderness. They often have a higher position, jobs like lawyer, judge, doctor, teacher, professor, manager and mayor. As a child they are often treated as special, as a prince or princess.
Or they are in a minor position in society. They do not like their position, sometimes fight it, sometimes see it as fixed, sometimes try to escape it.
There is a lack of discussion and exchange. When things are fixed and cannot be changed it is best just to accept them and suppress your emotions as they will only bring unrest and turmoil. Emotions and thoughts are of no help as things are fixed anyhow.
ImageTheir image is very important. They always want to be seen as neat, tidy, nice, civilised, cheerful and optimistic. It is like having a perfect Facebook page. They want to show as intelligent, cultural, artistic, refined and scientific so that they are the perfect person to talk to at parties. To show perfect they are inclined to cosmetic surgery, facelift, dental reconstruction, botox injections, so that at older age they still look young.
ControlTo keep up their appearance they need to control themselves, their emotions, thought and pains. Complaining and lamenting are not allowed, also not in others. They tend to suppress everything they see as negative, their instincts, emotions, sexuality. This can make them stiff, rigid, in the end even hard, but mostly to themselves. They have the tendency to suppress negative aspect so much that they don’t them themselves anymore. Often they don’t know the cause of their diseases, which are seen by them just diseases without cause.
Open en closedTypical is the feeling that they are open and closed at the same time. They can talk fluently and openly, but one gets the feeling that there is something more, that they don’t really open themselves. But it comes from not knowing it anymore. Things have to be perfect, so by sweeping the problems under the carpet they don’t exist anymore.
