Habitat: sheltered and exposed coastal sites; stabilises loose sand on dunes.
BotanyPerennial, scrambling herb; stems spread over the ground, branched, 20–40 mm long. Leaves: Y-shaped, with blunt tips; up to 15 mm long.
Flowers: yellow; 10 mm long.
Fruit: drooping, four-angled capsule; 10–12 mm long, containing brown seeds.
