English: Bushy clubmoss.
Synonym: Lycopodium deuterodensum.
Genus: 1 species.
Region: Australia, North Island of New Zealand, New Caledonia.
Habitat: wide variety, high rainfall areas on sandy soils; in open forest, scrub, heath.
BotanyFern; clubmoss; up to 1 metre high.
TaxonomyIn the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group classification of 2016 (PPG I), the genus is placed in the subfamily Lycopodioideae. Other sources sink it into Lycopodium.
It was first described as Lycopodium densum, a name already used and thus illegitimate. In 1944 the species in the genus Lepidotis as Lepidotis densa. In 1983 the species in his genus Pseudolycopodium.
