‘Homeopathy and the Elements’ was created through an ongoing interaction between practice and theory. Patients sometimes respond halfway well to a homeopathic remedy. This is a sign that the remedy looks like the right, precise remedy. For example, Calcium carbonicum works somewhat well, but the effect is not lasting. Then Calcium muriaticum may be needed. And if that works well, we can analyse what the difference is between the two remedies. What is the same in symptoms then belongs to Calcium, what differs comes from the carbonicum versus the muriaticum.
This method can also be applied to larger groups in the Periodic Table of Elements. The row with Ferrum is then found to have themes of work, perfection, being normal and so on. The other rows thus each have their themes.
The columns of the Periodic system are found to have a quality of development, as in nature of rise, full bloom and fall.
This discovery of the qualities of of the elements, rows and columns of the Periodic Table is the essence of ‘Homeopathy and the Elements’.
