English: Silver-dollar fern; Peruvian maidenhair.
Region: Peru.
Habitat: tropical; intolerant of frost.
Use: ornamental, beautiful, greenhouse or houseplant, leaves spread and hang gracefully as a weeping willow.
BotanyFern; large, 1m tall, 080 cm wide.
Stem: black.
Leaves: pinnules large, flat; new are oval shaped, with pale pink shade, later pale green, with a metallic sheen, finally dark green.
Spores: on the edge of the leaflets.
