TaxonomyIn the Apg3 classification Viscaceae is a Family in the Order Santalales. The only Genus Viscum has been placed in the past in Loranthaceae or Santalaceae. Its behaviour is very much like Loranthaceae.
In the Plant theory Viscaceae is placed in Subphase 6.
IntroductionHeart septum defects seem to be a keynote. This can be linked to the desire to stay in the womb, parasiting on the mother, instead of becoming independent and live on their own.
It can be for young adults who want to keep on living home, using it as a hotel with their parents as servants, being taken care of, the washing and cooking is done for them and they do not have to worry about anything.
