Essence: indifferent towards your task.Indifferent towards your task
They feel indifferent towards their task. They feel they have seen it all and it doesn’t matter anymore. Why should they bother about their study? Their sense of duty has gone because they feel it is no use. They are always behind with their work but they always have an excuse ready.
They tend to work in short spurts, just enough to tide them over for the next few months. They often end up doing seasonal work.
Neglecting the orderThey are very slack and let things go until it is a complete chaos. They keep hoping that everything will turn out all right in the end, that their old abilities will get them out of this mess. They think they won’t make that many mistakes and if they do people will probably forgive them. They tend to think that others will provide work for them at the right time. Or that their diploma will be handed out to them even though they haven’t done much work. And even if they don’t get their diploma, they will make it in this world somehow or other.
Fantasising about their workThey tend to fantasise a lot about their work, about how things would have been if they had chosen another profession or another job. Or they keep reminiscing about their previous job, how it was and how many things they achieved. They can be quite boastful about it to other people and make it look as if it was easy. It can also be an escape, something they would never have achieved in reality but which they can at least enjoy in their imagination.
Neglecting criticismCriticism is something they tend to ignore. They don’t understand what they could have done wrong and they simply don’t acknowledge the fact that they might make mistakes. They get suspicious of people who criticise them and will probably treat them with a certain degree of cynicism. But their usual response is not to bother, because it is no use anyway.
