654.11.06 Lythrum salicaria, CaseWoman, 50, knee pain.
She has knee pains which confronts her with the finiteness of life, death. She feels powerless.
She has panic attacks from trifles, from not being able to support herself financially. She hates to be forced to participate in society. She has strong views about how the world should be, is very interested in alternative ways of living and societies, is interested in the Indians, the native people of South America.
She has fibromas in her uterus and that feels horrible as they just do their own thing and do not listen to her.
Relationships with men have been problematic. At 12 she was raped by a family member who threatened her if she thought of talking about it. She lies stiffly in her bed, weeping without tears. In puberty she got into a relationship with a boy with a similar sexual experience, weeping silently, alone.
Her first marriage was to a schizophrenic man who beat her and lied to her. After she had her daughter she divorced. Later she had a relationship with a nice man, an artist but he had many relationships on the side with other women. Due to these experiences and especially the rape she feels blighted very deeply in her femininity, like a canker.
She lives in a cocoon, as if imprisoned and invisible. She feels excluded, as if she let herself be excluded and beaten to death. She has problems expressing herself, often holds her hand before her mouth. She has a tendency to withdraw into her own world and house. She feels special, a pioneer, a trend-setter but is not valued.
She is a journalist, trying to prove herself as such.
