Fouquieriaceae. It is closely related to
Polemoniaceae but looks quite different, like a cactus.
IntroductionFouquieria grows in
Gypsum soil, calcium sulphate, a combination of
Phase 2 and 6. It gives a combination of being sure and unsure but at both ends of the group, both being aside, tolerated, not really being part of the group. The name reminds one of gypsies.
