They have the idea that by understanding the world they can control it, or know how to handle the world to stay free. They want to travel and see a lot of the world to experience cultures and see how people are. Thus they can understand themselves better.
Deep understanding through friendsThey try to understand the world by looking deeply into things. They want discuss their understanding with friends to sharpen their vision. By comparing their own experiences with those of friends they get a broader view. They feel that their own experience can never be complete, so they try to complete it with the experiences of other people. But there also they want to get as complete a picture as possible, of how their friends are thinking and feeling. This is stemming from the feeling that they might miss some aspect and that they still might see things incorrectly or incompletely.
Friends are the wise guysTheir friends are often people who try to understand everything. They know a lot and can even become the wise guy. They can learn a lot from their friends. When it’s exaggerated, it can lead to a kind of aversion, as their friends can become too convincing. Their friend cannot see anymore that he might miss something. He can even try to overcome his own insecurity by becoming convincing.
Almost in control in the spiritual worldThey want to understand themselves also in the spiritual dimension. They feel that that’s important for becoming really autonomous and independent. They often do that together with friends. They hope that friends can help them to complete their spiritual journey.
