Botany: easily recognizable by a clear, fringed sheet ground with a magnifying glass. It differs from the very similar Ulota crispa by dark green coloring, capsules gradually compressed at mouth, in a deflated condition capsule-shaped leaves and leaves very friable in a dry state. Bruchs Krausblattmoos grows preferentially at Laubholzborke near waters. However, it rarely happens on damp soil. As it is sensitive to air pollution, its stocks have declined sharply in recent years. That is why today most people are missing near cities. According to [2], it is said to be spreading again recently. It is otherwise common only in Europe and comes there in higher altitudes before the leaves in the dry state very strong curly leaves. It grows in small pomp boxes.
