English: Maitake; Hen of the woods; heep's head.
Content: Polysachharides - a and b-D - glucans, grifolan, unsaturated fatty acids, phospholipids, ergosterol.
General: anti-tumour activity against sarcoma, leukemia, immunostimulating, antibiotic action against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, protection against ionizing radiation, anti-inflammatory.
Lung: cancer.
Stomach: oesophageal cancer.
Abdomen: liver cirrhosis, jaundice, ascites.
Rectum: diarrhoea.
Urinary: Diuretic for oedema and scanty urine output - inhibits electrolyte and water reabsorption by renal tubules, chyluria.
Female: vaginal discharge.
