Habitat: on rocky slopes; altitudes of 100 to 1500 meters.
BotanyHerb; 5 to cm tall; forming small rosettes; grows into a small group of 20 cm diameter.
Leaves: dark green to green purple, more purple in summer, back to dark green in winter;
Flowers: yellow, red heart; from each rosette grows a flower; blooming from April to June.
