Attractant.
BodyGeneral: fever; malaria; schistosomiasis; fatigue, stiffness; weakness.
Action: antimicrobial, antioxidant; antifungal against Trichytum mentagrophytes and Candida albicans; antimalarial activity; against Trypanosoma brucei; haemolytic; aphrodisiac; elixir of longevity; laxative; analgesic, astringent, ophthalmic, purgative, sedative; soporific; tranquilliser; strengthening.
Nervous: epilepsy, violent tonic convulsions, paralysis, similar to strychnine
Ears: infection.
Heart: arrhythmias; high lipid; arteriosclerosis; hypertension.
Stomach: ache; in digestion; ulcers, < aspirin
Abdomen: liver, bile problems; worms.
Rectum: constipation.
Urinary: kidney and urino-genital complaints, renal stone.
Genital: venereal diseases.
Male: orchitis.
Female: dysmenorrhoea, frigidity, sterility, infertility; nursing mothers, with milk unsuited for the child; mothers with still-born or sick babies.
