Habitat: coastal zone; full sun to partial shade; very hardy, reliable.
Content: esters of 3P-Hydroxytropane/-«ortropane; T8-type alkaloids (3P-acetoxytropane and its isobutyryl, 2-methylbutyryl, isovaleroyl, 3-hydroxy-2-methylbutyryl; tigloyl congeners as well as astrimalvine B; T5-,T9-,T10-type tropanes; acyloxytropanes.
BotanyHerb; perennial; evergreen; fast growing; mat-forming dense groundcover; ± 10 cm tall.
Leaves: rounded.
Flowers: large, white to pinkish, paper-like, trumpet-shaped. Pollination: by bees, insects; blooming spring to summer.
