Botany
Shrub or small tree.
Leaves: characteristic thin; darker green nerves against lighter green blade; petiole short, 15 mm, soon corky; about 20 x 7.5 cm; 7 – 10 pairs of laterals; glaucous or metallic below, frequently pustulate; margin shallowly dented.
Flowers: big.
Fruit: splitting open before ripening, seeds developing on the reflexed valves; about 1 cm, in a sweet orange pulp.
