Family
English: Alternate-leaved golden-saxifrage.
Habitat: wet places.
ZoologyHerb; mat-forming; perennial; 5 to 15 cm tall.
Stems: trailing; fragile; three-sided; hairy on the lower parts, but smooth above.
Leaves: alternate; stalked; broad; kidney-shaped; with a few rounded shallow teeth, few hairs.
Flowers: surrounded by yellowish-green bracts; sepals down-turned, yellowish-green; no petals; central flower in the corymb has five lobes and the others four lobes; stamens 8; styles 2, fused at the base; flowering from March to June.
Fruit: bowl-shaped, lidded capsule.
