English: Large boykinia.
Region: western United States from California to Montana.
Habitat: shady forest understory, wet mountain meadows.
Botany: rhizomatous perennial herb; leaves large, up to 50 centimeters long, petioles up to 35 centimeters long, with several lobes, sharply toothed edges; inflorescence dense, flat-topped array, up to a meter tall on a thin stem; flowers many, small, white, yellowish centers, five pointed sepals five larger rounded or oval petals.
