TaxonomyL2 Antimima-clade, Antimima (Leipoldtia-group) that were sampled. However, the small genera Braunsia, Esterhuysenia and Hammeria from the Lampranthus-group as well as Ruschia mutata group closely with two species of Antimima (PP = 0.99). This suggests that Antimima may not be monophyletic. In addition, three closely allied genera/taxa from the Little Karoo, Octopoma octojuge, Smicrostigma and Zeuktophyllum form a clade (PP = 0.99) within the Antimima clade. The Antimima clade is a mix of the Leipoldtia-, Lampranthus- and Ruschia-groups, suggesting that none of these groups is monophyletic.
