Name: glabrescens meaning "losing hairs"
Region: southwest Western Australia.
Habitat: deep, gravelly sand, amongst scrub.
Use: little potential as a garden plant, maybe in rockery gardens.
BotanySmall, erect shrub; up to 70 cm in height.
Leaves: entire; oval-shaped, but may rarely by lobed; 25 mm long, 6 mm wide.
Flowers: pinkish red or cream; perianth tube about 22 mm long; style about 35 mm long.
