Rosmarinus officinalis

A man of 70 years of age comes with asthma. He has lack of air on exertion, worse from lying and cold, especially cold wind. He also has wheezing and is allergic for dogs. He is also allergic to dust and wool: once he came in contact with his blanket and immediately got an asthma attack. From cats he gets irritated eyes. He already had asthma as a child. When he started to study the asthma was much better, almost gone. It came back the last years after losing his friends. His medication is Flexotide, Fluimicil, Omeprazol, Singulair and Serevent.HistoryHis father was closed. he cared well but they had little contact. It was not a real father-sun relationship. His mother was extravert, was a good complement to his father. The family was harmonious.
His study time was very good with a lot of friends. He enjoyed life and had very little asthma.
He enjoys life, likes to eat everything and have a nice time with people. He likes contact with people very much. He hates email, he wants to hear someone's voice. He goes out with friends a lot and so his wife calls him a "free soul". His practice as a doctor was very busy and he liked it very much to see his patients. He worked very hard till he retired at 62.
He is the eldest of 3 brothers and they have good contact. He was very hurt when his youngest brother died, it was a scratch on his soul.
After his pension he lived a few years in Italy as retirement. But when his friends there died he decide to back to Holland. Now he lives in the city and he loves it because he can meet many people. He makes contact very easily. But he feels unsure when he is attacked, then he feels out of order. Generally he has been very cheerful, but lately he can have depressive moods when he thinks back of his deceased friends. The good contact that he had is gone. He likes to feel home with people, so that one doesn't need to be on guard. He likes it when it feels "all right". He weeps when he talks about the losses, the good years of his practice with the contact with all his patients. When he feels depressed he has a heavy feeling in his chest.
He has lived a rich life and enjoyed it very much.PhysicalHe has stomach pains, which are treated with Losec.
He has high cholesterol which is treated with Selectine.
He has Hypertension which is treated with Captopril, Cozaar.
Asthma is a family problem coming from his fathers side.
He had prostate cancer which was treated with a radical prostate resection.GeneralHobbies; photographing, travelling.
Time: < morning on rising, he feels like fainting then.
Desire: wine, asperges, Indian, Italian.Impressionhe is a very friendly person, talking freely and openly about himself, enjoying the contact. He also ask me how I feel. He is very concerned about people.AnalysisThe main theme is friends. He likes to have contact, talks with pleasure. This looks like Phosphor. And we see it in his attitude, his hobby of travelling an enjoying contact with people.
But in general he needs more a remedy from the Plant kingdom as he is sensitive and concerned about others. he feels more lively than the strictness of the Mineral kingdom.
The family of the Lamiaceae are strongly looking like Phosphor, the most of all plant families. So the choice for this family.
The Stage is mostly 11. Making contact is no problem, so it is on the right side, stage 10 to 17. And he enjoys contact, enjoying a strong theme of Stage 11. He like to maintain (Stage 11) the contact. It is only that people die and that the contacts get lost which give him grief. The loss of contacts can make one think of Stage 15. But his general attitude all his life has been that of keeping (Stage 11) the contacts, not that of losing (Stage 15) contacts.

After a month his asthma is much less. He even tried a period to do totally without the inhalators, but that was too optimistic. He could do without, but then he didn't have complete relaxation in his chest. After 3 more months and repetitions of Rosmarinus MK he feels much better. His asthma is only 15% of what it was. He respires freely and has no obstruction of his bronchies. He doesn't need his inhalers anymore. He feels so good that he stops the treatment.
