Bryum capilare 3-333.22.13Case by Martin JakobA 55 year old woman diagnosed with acute polymorphic psychotic disorder. When asked what brings her to me, she says she has a mental disorder. In addition, she has diabetes type 2 and sleep disorders. I am waiting for a further explanation but she just sit there with no words. I ask how she feels about that and she says she is listless, tired and flabby. Her brother brought her here, alone she is not capable of it, she seems passive and somehow dull, as if she do not understand me. When she answers, it takes her a very long time or there is no answer at all, then she just sits there, looks at me for a long time - smiles, smiles, strikes down her eyes says nothing and just sits there. Most of the times she just says after quite a while yes or no. I look for help at her brother who shrugs his shoulders and tells me that not much more will come from her, his sister is simply listless, does not get up until 10 o'clock in the morning and sleeps again after lunch. If you ask her how she is, she says well and looks at you for a long time.On the question how she experienced her psychotic complaint, she said, that she felt like she was being watched or spied on. She suffers from sleep disorders, cannot sleep and was in a psychiatric ward for a month this was two and a half years ago. Since then her condition hasn't changed despite further treatments such as psychotherapy and various medication. She gets Ursofalk, Linsinopril, Simvastin, Aripiprazol (atypischen Neuroleptika), Metformin, before that she had a depot syringe of Xepelon (atypischen Neuroleptika) once a month for two years. In 2011 a primary viral cirrhosis of the liver was diagnosed. She tells me, with her brother's support, that she she had trouble at work. She was moped, "bitten out“, in her work they did not helped together, everyone just looked after himself at her work. She works as a cleaner in a social institution. A lot of work was assigned to her, which she could not cope with in the prescribed time. She always tried to do everything conscientiously, to make it good for everyone. (adjust = phase 2) Than she has become sick with acute polymorphic psychotic disorder and couldn’t work anymore. The management called her a few times, when she would come back to work. She always tried to give her best and put up with everything for a long time. (passive = phase 2) She swallowed her grudge far too often. (Stage 13 = grudge). Her husband and daughter did not support her either (supported = phase 2). There was too little attention, support, understanding and recognition both at home and in her work. She has retired (Stage 13) is no longer leaving the house, since 2017 she is registered unemployed. (not able to make once own living, ohne Moss nix los, German saying)I ask her about her childhood, she is the youngest of three children. She was the smallest and had to put up a lot, because she was the youngest. (Phase 2 = small and defenseless) She was a very well-behaved and calm child. (Phase 2) She enjoyed going to school, enjoyed there the writing and reading, she still enjoys reading doctor’s novels.Mother: She experienced them as pleasant and self-confident.Father: He was a very good man, a quiet, entertaining, funny person. She has learned to be an office clerk and lost her jobs over and over again due to the bankruptcy of companies and was then unemployed again and again.(no fixed occupation, no roots ? = moss) (She lives more from and in her family = silicon series 330 and has no real fixed contact in the working world = before the Iron series 440)She was born in the eighth month too early, no heart sounds could be detected at birth. She was often hospitalized after her birth, the first year because of her immature lung. (Birth trauma, prelingual trauma, surviving in harsh circumstances = moss)AnalysisMoss 3-300.00.00: Confusion, no real grip on the world, no understanding for the world, one has the feeling she does not understand what is happening. Psychosis. Birth trauma the survival of life-threatening conditions, she is born without a heartbeat. Prelingual trauma, as an infant often in hospital. No steady job, no regular income.
Bryales 3-333.20.00 Phase 2: passive, very well behaved, adapting, the last of three children, putting up with everything.
Bryum capilare 3-333.22.13: Resentment, swallowing the resentment, has withdrawn and has not left the house.Prescription: Bryum capilare C30 once a week.Follow up after three months:
I talk to her on the phone after six weeks and she chats on the phone, I ask how she is, she says well, when asked what has changed she says: nothing. I ask her for a personal follow-up consultation, because I had the impression on the phone she is more clear, talks more and not says just yes or no. After three month in the follow up she is more awake, talks more, can explain me more about herself, but cannot explain to me what has changed. On the question if there is any difference she said no. So I asked her brother and he confirmed my impression that she is more clear, more awake and more talkative than three month before. Her desire to sleep a lot and her lack of motivation is more or less the same.
Calcium bromatum did not do anything.
